Media Talk 101 is committed to teaching media
discernment in the light of following Christ.
Mission Statement
Media Talk 101 was established for the following purposes:
1. To use the topic of media choices as a platform to communicate to others about what it means to follow Jesus Christ
2. To encourage media discernment among professing Christians based on principles found in the Bible
3. To encourage repentance for spiritually and morally compromising media choices
4. To develop and provide a variety of resources which communicate the message about following Christ and how that should effect the choices a person makes pertaining to entertainment
5. To pray for this generation which is faced with unprecedented media choices and the potential obstacles they pose for living the life that God has prepared for each person. Media Talk 101 is also committed to organizing efforts to encourage others to pray specifically for this ministry and those who it reaches.
6. To train leaders to help carry out the goals of this ministry
